It is mainly Pigeons that nest under panels and they can cause quite a mess under them with nesting materials and guano, this creates a breeding ground for bacteria and pest insects. Also it holds up water flow on your tiles which could cause leaks. Guano on your panels will also greatly reduce the performance of the panels at creating electricity, it covers the surface which then blocks the rays of the sun. If we can stop them from nesting under the panels or seeking shelter they will no longer find your roof inviting and move on. Once the proofing has been done a clean of the panels is recommended to optimise performance.

- How many panels are to be proofed
- How much waste is to be removed (nesting materials and guano)
