What does it cost to treat a wasp nest?
Normally a wasp nest treatment starts at around £50.00 this price could go up depending on a few things like access to treat the nest, if the nest can be treated and then removed, your location to where we are based (travel time).
Why do I have a wasp nest and how is it treated?
Wasp’s nest anywhere that the Queen feels safe enough to build a nest. This could be in your loft space, wall cavity, behind facia and soffit boards, out houses, in the ground and many other places.
Treatment involves several different options of insecticide, we would decide on the most effective and safe one to use while inspecting the nest site. It could be dust, liquid or aerosol insecticide.
How long will it take to kill the nest?
The treatment depending on what we use does not take long, normally with dust within an hour the activity will have died down. As the dust is spread further round the nest it should be killed off within 24 hours, you might still see some coming and going but these are just workers that will die off.
If the nest is visible and you want it removing then it can be treated with liquid or aerosol and this will kill the nest off within 15-30 minutes and then the nest is removed.
